So one of the players is an eleesha spammer and you might think, it's among the hardest characters so they should know how to actually play the game. From my experience, they wake up from cryo and they don't actually go and collect any of the already expiring logs (yes, even for tracker). So, from the get-go, without these logs they can't actually do any investigation of any kind.
But it's not like they have plans to investigate in the future. They may pick tracker but it doesn't mean they'll use it to count AP, notice missing AP, even care about missing AP and maybe not even know what missing AP means when other people are proving to you "we should kill this guy because he's obviously missing an AP bar".
They don't monitor people and where they go, so they don't notice someone getting dirty and heading straight to Raluca/whoever is in medlab, even if they literally go through the room where that information is. That is like the utter baseline for tracker imo.
So do they not know how to even read the logs? Or how to play the game? Even if you are sitting in lab, you could spam access terminal to figure out research progress instead of blindly trusting whoever, but not even this. Are people who just sit in lab or dorms and mulch their AP onto the closest research/project, while saying basically "x may be kinda SUS, they're giving bad vibes" good players and excellent investigators now?
The second player? Well, they legitimately still don't know how torturer works. I shouldn't have to say a word more on this besides that.
These aren't my "opinions", they're observations from the game, from playing with these players. If we are just choosing random people who put their names in the bucket it's really no wonder the state of balance in EN is going downhill, obviously the game is getting balanced for FR servers where like 10 people on average know how to play instead of the very maximum of 3 on EN ships. How can people who can barely play a game, balance it? Also, good thing random people who don't even play on the server can choose that community's representatives. lol.
