Alpha's Version
- Hi, i dont know if you've already talk about this, but im really in to play the game again but i dont konw if there will be a reset soon or what. We all know that the game is slow to progress so it doesnt make any sense to play in the between. If anybody knows something i'll apreciate it
- In my opinion, the transition from Alpha to Beta and then to the final game will never happen. I waited for years, thinking the same way. One day, I decided to give this unstable version of the game a chance. I don't regret it; in less than six months, you can reach the top 200 by focusing on gathering professions. Alternative projects are bound to emerge—the frustration is just too great..
You'll find other English speakers more easily on the Discord, there are 14k registered members and 2k online daily. - yeah but the leveling of dinoz takes a long time and if they were gonna do the reset anyways doesnt make any sense to play the game in the meanwhile. i've already lived the frustration of losing my dinoz in the first version with the transition to eterna (even after they said that if you save your account you wouldnt lose them).
im gonna ask in the discord if they know something. another option is to pass from the beta to the alpha without a reset and that wouldnt be a problem in my opinion - Haha sure, but taking your time is half the fun! Above all, you shouldn't let your account get "stuck"—meaning you shouldn't rely solely on daily actions and quests. You need to factor in Dinoz levels, group size, professions, and the leveling zone.
You can level up a Dinoz with gathering skills solo quite easily. You lose some ups, but in exchange you can gain xp after level 31, the harvesting items equal the value of the gold lost. Just make sure to rest properly instead of buying consumables to recover health.
At the Mines, you can reach level 31 very easily by digging with a shovel, even without gathering skills. Things get trickier after that. In my opinion, it's best to group up in pairs, including a lower-level gathering Dinoz.
The daily University schedule helps a lot. You need to allow a good six months to get at least three solid Dinoz (level 40+). The rest of the time, you just chat about this and that with other players haha.
As for the frustration of losing my Dinoz, I didn't feel any when Twinoid shut down, despite having invested quite a bit of money in the game. I was actually rather relieved; spending money can easily turn into a vicious cycle.
Strangely enough, that was what I missed the most—being able to spend money on this game. It was a sort of addiction, even though I’m the type of person who usually saves money.
It’s not about money here—just the joy of playing, rediscovering fun mechanics, a nice build, beautiful visuals, account management, and so on.
Regarding emotional attachment to Dinoz, one possibility is to offer a way to reclaim lost ones through events. Whether they originate from Twinoid or this Alpha version, they would be added to the account as an event-exclusive egg ready to hatch or inside a surprise pack. - i played a lot of time this game, spend time right now knowing that it'll be a reset doesnt amuse me. Even with infinity actions took a long time to get your dinoz to lvl 80. Even getting to lvl 80 it's not the only problem, failing to acquire the skills you expected and aspired to complicates matters even further.
Sorry, but we aren't going to agree with our thoughts - Well, yes, I'm a melodious frog and you're a rippling pebble.
I didn't much like the second tree; it marked a break with the first, not a continuity. There was too much pressure; I prefer a level 70 cap on the same tree, but with extended branches. Work had already been done along those lines; I synthesized it and proposed others. My personality must have been an issue; I think my proposals were too sexy to find any takers.
It would already be a miracle to have the game at level 50, bug-free, and with clan events.
